Well, looks like my love affair with paper crafting and card making might be really turning into something! Happy is Handmade is finally HERE! I don’t know whether to call it a new iteration or a reincarnate of Beyond Custom Creations, but my emotions are all over the place right about now, so please be patient with me. And remember, “I’m an artist….and….I’m sensitive about my “S&*!” Lolol!
I’m also somewhere in between having praise breaks and twerking. Because, see, the way my relationship is set up with MY God, we have been going back and forth about doing this. It sounds a little like this….
Me: “I don’t know…I’m scared…What if….I can’t…No…”
Him: “Yes, you can…I got you…trust Me…”
So first, and foremost, before I go any further in this post, I give all praise to my God! This has truly been quite a journey that he has led me, guided me, taught me, carried me, and in some instances, DRAGGED me kicking and screaming through which makes for quite a colorful story, a story that we’ll have to get into in another post. But as for now, he gets the first shout out.
Next, I suppose I’ll send a big shout out and THANK YOU to my husband of 16 years, Michael D. Raeford, Jr. He is the CSS to my HTML…I don’t really know what that means…I got that from him…lolol…but I figure it’s kinda like he’s the glue sticks to my glue gun. He’s one of those new rock stars of the Information Age…one of those coder, programmer, developer, product management guys….that’s one of his many talents and the reason why this site is possible. He’s also been one of my biggest fans over the years. And when we work well together…well…it’s MAGIC!
I’d also like to say THANK YOU to Megan Kelley of Renee Brookdale Photography for listening to me and helping me to realize my vision and taking such beautiful photos of my work.
And last, but certainly not least, THANK YOU to all of my family and friends for their unwavering love, support, and words of encouragement over the years. You are the wind beneath my wings!
