✦ Happy Is Handmade Community Impact ✦
When a church family is hurting, a card says what words sometimes can’t: you are not alone, and someone is thinking of you.
We donate handcrafted sympathy and get-well cards, free of charge, to local churches so they can reach members who are sick, homebound, or grieving.
Why We Do This
Every congregation has members who are in the hospital, recovering at home, or mourning someone they love. Pastors and ministry volunteers want to reach out to each of them, but they don’t always have the time, or the cards, to do it.
Happy is Handmade makes cards that are meant to be kept. Cards with Love puts them in the hands of the people already doing the caring, so a family in a hard season opens their mailbox and finds proof that their community sees them. A few seconds of smiling, a moment away from the worry. That’s the whole point.
How It Works
Fill out the short application below. Tell us about your congregation and the person who will manage the cards.
Our team reviews each application and reaches out within about a week to confirm and answer questions.
We send an assorted box of sympathy and get-well cards, ready to sign, seal, and deliver.
When a member is sick, shut-in, or grieving, you can send them some happy mail to let them know that their church family is thinking of them.
What Your Church Receives
For families who have lost a loved one.
For members recovering at home, in the hospital, or in long-term care.
For members who could use a reminder that the church family hasn’t forgotten them.
Every card is blank inside, so your pastor or care team can add a personal note and signature. Card designs may vary.
Program Requirements
We keep it simple. The mission is to spread love and joy. The goal is to be a source of comfort and help uplift spirits.

Questions
Yes. There is no fee for the cards or for shipping to approved churches. Cards with Love is funded by Happy is Handmade as part of our commitment to the community.
Starter quantities are based on congregation size and available supply. We’ll confirm your allotment when we approve your application, and you can request a refill as you use them.
We’re starting with churches because they’re often the first to know when someone is hurting. If you lead a hospital ministry, nursing home chaplaincy, or other community group, reach out and tell us about it.
We’ll select a mix of sympathy, get-well, and thinking-of-you designs. If your church has a preference, note it on your application and we’ll do our best.
We’d love that. Email support@happyishandmade.com and we’ll share how you can help put more cards in more hands.
